Participation of CSOs in electoral processes for a stronger democracy and accelerated EU integration

With funding from the EU Delegation Albania, the Albanian National Training and Technical Assistance Resource Center – ANTTARC, in partnership with the Institute for Political and Legal Studies – IPLS, is implementing the “Participation of CSOs in electoral processes for a stronger democracy and accelerated EU integration” action. Its objective is “to increase the participation of Albanian CSOs in the monitoring of electoral processes and policy dialogue on electoral reform”.

CSOs active in the electoral processes will benefit from a customized capacity-building program. They will increase the capacity to monitor election processes and participate in the policy dialogue on electoral reform (Expected Output 1).           

Policy research, information, and awareness campaigns, CSO strategizing meetings and round tables with the main stakeholders, and a common digital platform will ensure that sharing of information and experience, coordination, networking, and collaboration among CSOs and between CSOs and other actors for monitoring of electoral processes and enhancement of electoral reform have increased (Expected Output 2).

Sub-grants for CSOs focusing on electoral processes will enable them to implement initiatives to monitor upcoming general elections, monitor electoral processes, and contribute to electoral reform (Expected Output 3).

Me financim nga Delegacioni i Bashkimit Evropian në Shqipëri, Qendra Kombëtare Burimore e Trajnimit dhe Asistencës Teknike – QKBTAT, në partneritet me Institutin për Studime Publike dhe Ligjore – IPLS, po zbatojnë projektin “Pjesëmarrja e OSHC-ve në proceset elektorale për një demokraci më të fortë dhe integrim të përshpejtuar në BE”.

OSHC-të aktive në proceset elektorale do të përfitojnë nga një program i veçantë për zhvillimin e kapaciteteve. Përfaqësuesit e OSHC-ve do të rrisin kapacitetin e tyre në monitorimin e proceseve elektorale dhe për pjesëmarrjen në dialogun politik mbi reformën elektorale (Rezultati i pritshëm 1).

Studime mbi politikat lidhur me proceset elektorale, fushata informimi dhe ndërgjegjësimi, seminare strategjike të OSHC-ve dhe tryeza të rrumbullakëta me palët e interesuara, dhe një platformë digjitale e përbashkët do të mundësojnë që të rritet ndarja e informacionit dhe eksperiencës, kordinimi, rrjetëzimi dhe bashkëpunimi midis OSHC-ve dhe midis tyre dhe aktorëve të tjerë për monitorimin e proceseve zgjedhore dhe avancim të reformës elektorale (Rezultati i pritshëm 2).   

Nën-grantet për OSHC-të aktive në proceset elektorale do t’i mundësojnë ato të realizojnë inisiativa për monitorimin e zgjedhjeve qendrore të 2025-ës, monitorimin e proceseve elektorale dhe të kontribojnë në reformën elektorale (Rezultati i pritshëm 3).
